Race Team

Gary Dixon is the owner of Lost Boys Racing along with his sons Derek and Stewart Dixon. Full Circle Maintenance & Construction is our sole sponsor although we are and have been seeking additional sponsors. Our racing team consists of father and sons as drivers along with family and friends as our pit crew and support. We try and make all out races a family event where the kids can enjoy camping, BBQ, campfires, and racing.

We have always enjoyed the outdoors in one way or another. If we weren’t skiing at the river or motorcycle riding in the desert we were building demolish demo cars or dreaming of racing trucks. Best in the Desert has provided us with the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and encouraged our competitive spirit. Our first race as Lost Boys Racing was in Henderson in 2004 and we have competed in every race since. We have enjoyed many podium finishes but have yet to receive a class win. However, out best year we claimed the #2 spot for out class. Some of our best times together have been the prep time before the races. We have learned many things and have created some innovative ways in solving problems with our trucks.

We have also ventured racing Baja. Each race has truly been an adventure that allow us to get away, let go, and to enjoy a little life on the edge. Good for the Soul.

We support Best in the Desert, SCORE International, and Corr Racing in that order. We value all the friends we’ve made over the past 5 years. In a competitive class such as ours a strong sense of camaraderie still finds it’s way into each and every race.
